1. Blue Moon (w/ an Orange slice)
(Also you should try the Harvest Moon, they only make it during Halloween season, has a pumpkin spice to it, really good imo)
2. Heineken
3. Corona Extra (w/ a lime slice)
4. Coors Light

That is some good stuff.

I've never had the harvest moon.

What about some of the seasonal Sam Adams?

IS Octoberfest any good?

Sometimes but its good alone as well..

I can't stand Corona without lime. Do you think I would like Dos Equis without it?

Im the same way with Tecate. Corona and Tecate with a lime make it a completely different beer.

There are two main versions of Dos Equis, the lager and the ambar.
I prefer the ambar, which is darker. I like it on draft with a salted rim and lime. Very good IMO.

Yep, I like Tecate with salt and lime also. It really is a lot different than just plain.

Definitely try the Harvest Moon when they bring it out next month.

For Sam Adams, I am a huge fan of the Summer Ale. I forgot to put that in my list ahead of Coors.

Just about every Oktoberfest beer I've ever had is good, even for brands I don't normally drink.

Becks, Sam Adams, Pete's Wicked, Saranac and even some pumpkin ales.

This is absolutely the best time of the year for beer.

Yep, pretty soon Anchor will put out a Christmas ale and it changes a bit each year. I always look forward to trying it.

I'm especially sad that Pete's Wicked stopped making their Winter Brew. The nutmeg and raspberry ale was so delicious.

In order:

Yuengling (every respectable mid-atlantic resident drinks this, not just Pennsylvannia folk)

Blue Moon

Sam Adams Black Lager

Rolling Rock (for when I need something light)

I tasted beer when I was 6 and my parents owned a bar. Drank one when I was 14 and my Mom's boyfriend "forgot" to take anything else to drink while we repaired windmills all day in 110 degree heat.

Not for me. I don't like most people when they are drunk. I don't ever want to be drunk and the taste was just this side of horrible.

My latest favorites are the Belgian Whites. Blue Moon is the easiest to get and is ok, but there are some really good foreign brews out there as well. Hoegaarden is really light but excellent.

Awesome.

I can't wait to toss back a few of the Oktober specialties.

Which ones do I have to try for sure?

I think Harvest Moon and Sam Adams are a lock for 2 weekends. So what should I use for the other 2?

A pumpkin beer spice just seems weird btw.

Same thing happened to me after my first beer.

It was a Coors original. I thought it was the nastiest thing on earth.

I didn't drink another beer for a long time and the 1st beer I ever drank the complete bottle of was a Michelob lite.

My Taste buds took a major change around the time I was 18 AKA I liked a lot more Vegtables and Beer.

So now I love beer. Great stuff. Especially during football season. But there is definetely some bads ones too.

I know there is someone in here pounding the beast! There has to be.

Anything in the Coors family is nasty, imo.

Ironically, Mich Light was also the first beer I ever truly enjoyed.

As far as Oktoberfest beers, I'd say to try whatever suits your fancy. I love going to a beer supplier with a bunch of different "off the beaten path" brands and getting a 6-pack of three or four kinds.

Hey now, back in the day when funds were low i'd definitely get the beast light. I swear it tastes close to miller lite to me. Or at least close enough to pay half the price for it.

For me i stick to miller lite though. I'll get a Guiness stout every now and then.

I'm not huge on the Mexican beers, but i tried a Sol a couple weeks back and really liked it. It didnt leave me with an aftertaste like Corona seems too.
