Just found out that a friend of mine got in a car accident on the way to the metroplex last night. He is a huge Cowboys fan, season ticket holder. He had just called me the other day to see if I wanted to go to a game with him. Fractured vertebra, he's in the hospital.

All kidding aside, I hope he gets better. My wife just totaled her car that we bought from CowboyDan. I don't really like her all that much right now, but I'm glad she's ok. You're right when you say that football isn't really that important in the scope of things. After going through what I've been through in my life, I get worked up for about 30 minutes tops and I let it go.

Things can be much worse than losing a football game. My thoughts are with your friend.
