These youngsters don't have a clue how exciting the Cowboys were in the late 60s. High scoring offense, awesome defense, crushing defeats in the playoffs. It was exciting if nothing else.

Agreed, and I will say it again, a lot of that was "The Bullet" Bob Hayes. He simply could not be covered man to man. I didn't become a fan until Super Bowl V, but I do remember my Grandpa talking about those teams and Hayes.

The highest passing yardage and receiving yardage games in Cowboys History come from the 1960's. Those records have stood for a lot of years.

The more I hear about the late 60s Cowboys the more I wish I could have seen them play. What an awsome offense that was! Averaging almost 32 points a game in '66 and 30 a game in "68 is unreal. I am begining to understand how heartbreaking those playoff defeat must have been. The worst I have ever felt after a game was the after the loss to the Steelers in SB XIII, I can only imagine what you "veterans" must have felt back then.:starspin

The same for me. I was sick to my stomach for days.
