Highest Scoring NFL Teams since 2019

Here's why a lot of averages and statistics are misleading. In 2019 the Cowboys averaged 27 PPG and went 8-8. Had they actually scored 27 PPG they would have been 12-3-1. A much better team with the exact same points per game.

Dak deserves his fair share of criticism but the defense did him no favors last year.

That has nothing to do with his individual performance. The defense didn't throw 2 picks in the playoffs, where it counts. They didn't help in that game, but throughout the year, they saved Dak a few times.

Even Dak would say scoring all those points in the regular season doesn't matter much if you crap the bed in the post-season.

Why would it matter when your D gives up 7 TD's in a row.

in that 5 year span he played the giants and wash 10 + 10 games, so 20 games against 2 of the worst teams in nfl.
Look at how many points they allowed in that span, probably top 5.

and mike would run up the scores in those games, and it makes the stats look better, just like this.

Overall most points scored is a weak stat. It just means on a good day they have potential to score 30 pts.
Where as bad off teams struggle to score 20.

Brady played agains the weakest Division for 15 years.

Playing the Giants and Skins twice per year who’ve sucked for the most of those years (and Eagles too for some of those seasons), along with having one of the top TO and scoring defenses has helped that. Compared to the regular season, the offense scoring total has sucked *** in the playoffs: below average.
