We should have given a really hard look at Hightower for the Patriots. I didn’t realize that he is a free agent.

I think he is someone they may talk to next week when all the players who may actually help this team improve have been snatched up.

He hasn't been very good for a few years. He absolutely can not cover anyone. He's a 1-2 down backer at best and even then you really need to scheme to keep him downhill and out of coverage.

In other words, he's exactly what the Cowboys have had at backer that didn't work.

He was bad last season. Meh vs the run. Horrible vs the pass. Just wretched.

Hightower is pretty much close to done. Horrible in pass coverage and wasn’t great last year at stopping the run.
