I think the best way to defend yourself would be first cover yourself with mustard. Bears hate mustard but love peanut butter. After covering yourself in mustard shoot yourself in the arm and start spinning in circles. The bear will leave you alone.

A kid I used to play with as a kid was killed and eaten by a bear. His Dad found his body. Just his head and left shoulder.

I have never understood why people get so close to a wild animal that can kill you.

Small world. We might no some of the same people. My uncle and dad used to tell a very similar story. Where u from and when did that happen?
