He is most likely in condition, or mostly. It was not like he was sitting on a couch all off season eating chips and dip all day long.
They won't be running at full speed too much, if at all. That would be where the soft tissue injuries would come in.

Yeah, but we've seen in before by players in condition. They miss time, then suddenly there's a soft tissue injury.

The team is doing the right thing by working him in slowly.

Cowboys WR George Pickens said he’s not disappointed that he did not get a long-term deal. He doesn’t plan on holding out. He will be at training camp.

He said he didn’t attend voluntary OTAs because he was listening to his agent.

“What’s important to me is winning. Like I said from the beginning, I always wanna bring a Super Bowl to a group of guys that never had that feeling. That’s really the most important part to me.”
