Either was Stafford when he was with the Lions. How many times did we have to hear, what has he ever done? He's not a golfer, he doesn't play tennis, that question is stupid. A question someone that never played football would ask. The first year he left the team he won a SB. The people asking that question haven't learned, they've just moved on to other quarterbacks. How many chances did Marino get? Does he suck? Elway couldn't win the big one until he did. Again, people that never played the game say that. Anyone that knew anything about the game knew Elway had 0 chance in the first 3 SBs he was in. Not even a snowball's chance in hell. Those people won a lot of money gambling against the ignorant.

Stafford, Elway, Marino are 3 names that should never be used in this conversation. Player number 4 isn't remotely close to their level. I could name like 50 qbs that are ahead of Player 4 before you get to those 3 names.

Pull up some random games on Youtube of Romo. The ball just jumped out of his hand gracefully where it needed to be. He could throw darts or lay it softly between coverages, and he could throw great deep balls. His back-shoulder throws were the best in the game.

He literally made millionaires out of average receivers like Mile Austin, Patrick Crayton, Laurent Robinson, Sam Hurd, Cole Beasley, and even Dez Bryant. Dez desperately needed Romo in order to be a great receiver. He owes his career to him.

Dak has improved a lot for sure, and I do like him, but he still throws it like he's in the shotput competition. So do a lot of quarterbacks.

Two years ago Darnold wasn’t but he won 13 games with two different teams and won a SB. Why does Herbert hold more weight than that?

LOL, good point there. I have no idea why people blow smoke up his butt. But I've seen him flash more than Darnold did before he got on the Vikings. So we don't know.

Unless we're talking about QBs like Peyton Manning, Brady, Rodgers, and the like, the supporting cast makes the QB. Not the other way around. Think of Romo. What was his two best years? It was 2007 and 2014. Oddly enough, we had the most talent on those two teams.

I hope I didn't give the impression I was comparing them to #4. You'll get no argument from me in regard to #4 as opposed to them. I was just trying to point out good QBs take a lot of heat through no fault of their own. Jim Kelly and John Elway are much better QBs than Phil Simms and Jeff Hostetler, yet both lost due to overall team talent.

Yeah but that's everyone. All of these quarterbacks are good. You don't make it as a bum. Hurts is a SB Mvp. I feel some guys get credit for looking good....Herbert comes to mind. He's not better than Hurts or Darnold.

It's funny that Seattle is now 2-0 with Drew Lock as quarterback. Lock had 28 starts before this season and his teams were 10-18.

It isn't just about the defense, either, Lock completed 72.9 percent of his passes, threw 4 touchdown passes and had a 127.3 rating in Seattle's most recent game thanks in large part to what Seattle has built around the QB on offense.
