The Medieval Qtr of Limoges France.
Some of the Houses date to the 14th Century and are still being lived in, found it by accident when I had a 5 hour wait for the Train to Paris, due to a Railway Strike and decided to wander around killing Time rather than sit in the Station.

Alamo, I wouldn't have fought to defend it, pretty rundown
Gettysburg, the most emotional place I have ever been but I named the Gettysburger
Hemingway's home in Key West
Ben Franklin's home in Philly
The City Tavern, Philly, where the Founding Fathers got hammered and decided they were fed up. Guess what I had? Yep, Sam Adams. They were out of Dolly Madisons.
Liberty Bell, but it was broken
Graceland, Paul Simon was not there, very disappointed
Washington DC, they've got some real scoundrels there but a visit should be required
You should reconsider that first statement. It’s not the building they were defending.
