2003. We shut out the Commanders 27-0. They didn't try a FG.

Good question. One I'm irritated that I can't remember...

Off the top of my head, Thanksgiving Vs. the Broncos when Drew Bledsoe dove over the top of a TD on 4th and goal from the 1??

Dasmn. Don't send me trying to recollect the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s here.

By the way, we could actually execute screen passes back then!! It was awesome!

Okay: Answer: NEXT QUESTION.

Seriously: NEXT GAME! :D (if anyone learned anything...)

Impressive! What about the last time before 2003? I'd guess 1999 when we shut out the Dolphins on thanksgiving.

And you'd be right.

We got Philly in 1998, Giants in 1996, Giants in 1995, Seattle in 1992, and then you've got to go all the way back to Reagan's first term in office to see us blank the Bucs in 1981 in the playoffs no less.

Olindo Mare missed 2 FGs in that game. 52 yards and 47 yards.

I am not 100% sure but I think it would be 1998 when we blanked the Eagles 34 to 0.

Romo ran a QB draw in the first game against the Giants.

I don't want Romo trying to run a sneak over the top of the pile to get a first down. It leaves him open to head shots. He is too important to the team to leave him susceptible to those kind of hits. Dallas has the line and the running back to gain one stinking yard. They just need to get their rear ends in gear and get it done. There is really no excuse for them not to push a pile back for one yard. That should be their strength. They aren't built to be a heavy screen team, but they are built to power over for short yardage. That is why it has been so disappointing the past few weeks. They are better than that.
