It is amazing how every year after a poor PRE-SEASON game, people on this board are ready to jump off a cliff. I love reading this board. It is a great source of information on the Cowboys, but some of you folks, man chill out!! The pre-season is what it is, glorified pratice. At best you may be able to elvaluate a few players, but in no way can you elvaluate a team. Jimmy's first team undefeated in pre-season, 1-15 regular season. New England has had a few really bad pre-seasons and yet continues to win Super bowls. How many times have you seen guys look all-world in the pre-season, then dissapear in the regular season? Kavika Pittman come to mind?? Relax, we all know the team needs help at right tackle and free safety. We knew that before the game started. Someone on here said after this game that the OL coach was terrible. Let me tell you one thing. This team will not lose games because of coaching. I was at the recent coaching clinic the Cowboys gave at Texas Stadium, and these guys know their stuff. Everybody chill. Evaluate the team after a few regular season games. Then you may have something to complain about.

Heck with them let them jump. LOL I agree 1 pre-season game does not make a season nor is it a reason to give up hope. 1 great thing about that game is Bill will have ample reason to jump some players today and ride them hard. Personally I think players learn more from bad outing than good ones

I had a feeling the team would struggle. The only thing that surprised me was the inability of the 1st team's running game to really get going. Other than that, everything went just as i thought. And as the previoius poster said, the lousy performance for sure gives Parcells a reason to ride the guys hard all week. So expect a better performance in Game 2.

This is not going to happen overnight if "it" even happens at all. While our personnel has improved, it's certainly not at the point where we can just show up and overwhelm opponents on either side of the ball. Far from it. We're adding a lot of new pieces and wrinkles to the team and it's not going to all come together in a matter of 16-20 TC practices. I don't care how good the reports have been to this point. This team obviously has a lot of work to be done and there's plenty of time to do so before the games actually count.

The pre-season can tell you a few things though. Dallas is a ways from solving RT. That's all this game could tell me.

I saw a few things I liked in that game. Romo , Tyson , McBriar , Crowder. LOL , we always lose when our defense is playing cover 3 , or a soft zone.
