Hey, ESPN has the "C'mon Man" segment, so why not Hit-the-Bench?
Here are my choices...
Phil Costa: By my count, he had four blatant bad snaps, and that's not even counting the ones Romo was able to hold onto. The Commanders knowing the cadence or not, he's got to get it together. Further, what was his excuse when he was doing similiar things during the Jets game?
Kevin Ogletree: Physical gaffes are one thing; it's easy for us to say "jump" when we watch a play in slow-motion. However, mental mistakes such as not knowing the plays or where to lineup is inexcusable. Give him a some credit for making that clutch one-handed catch at the end of the game, but he should be reprimanded for his performance as a whole.
Martellus Bennett: I was on the fence with putting him on the list, but I think I've turned the corner regarding my outlook on him in general as a player. Potential or not, I think he's really JAG. I have not seen the progression we all expected after he flashed as a rookie. On a side note, I actually think that was a poor throw by Romo in the endzone to Bennett. With a 6'6" Bennett being covered by a 5'9" Wilson, Romo has got to put some air under that ball. You nullify the physical advantage when you throw a chest/eye level pass.
Doug Free: He's put together two piss-poor games. He's whiffing on rushers upfield. Not sure what's going on. Some have speculated injury. He's got to play better.
