Hitchens had a rough night

I'll never understand Cowboys fans who gloat when one of our guys has a bad game. Apparently it's not all about the star.
He didn't even have a bad game.

It is highly likely that some posters here are not really Cowboys fans. People from here have gone to other message boards and pretended to be fans of that team. I'm sure it happens even more going the other way around because it's the Cowboys.

You are on the verge of trolling. Is there a starter on this team you actually root for?

Martin...is a stud. So is Smith....There are a few others. Beasley, Keith Smith, Dan Bailey, Kellen,
David Irving,
Mark Nzeocha
Kyle Wilber (as a DE)
Orlando Scandrick
Demarcus Lawrence
Lawrence Okoye
Jaylon Smith

This writer is clueless. I just rewatched with a focus on MLB. Hitchens was fine.
If 2 LBs fill the same gap and the RB pops out the other gap, the 2nd LB is wrong. The 2nd LB was Wilson not Hitchens in those situations in the Seattle game.

I don't know if people just never rewind or just don't understand what they're seeing.

FYI - Hitchens is #59.

Sounds like the plays Broaduss was talking about Wilson over pursuing.

Bruce Carter signed with the jets for $850,000. Last time he was with us he played 13 games had 5 ints, 2 sacks, and 57 tackles. That's better than what we have right now.

Curtis Lofton is available. Has never missed a game in 9 NFL seasons. Had some cleanup done to his knee this off season and wants to play. Demeco Ryan is available too. These guys have to be better than what we have.

we need a linebacker or 2. Would be nice to get one of the young guys to step up. But should we use to wait and see approach? could cause us games. I would like to sign a experienced back up as a fallback option.

Nzeocha was looking really well before his injury.

Again, I am not sure why people get worked up about Hitchens. He's fine for what he is............a situational/flex/spot starting LB.

While I don't think he's a very good LB, he's only starting because a hole was created by McClain. And when you have your starting MLB is out, you could certainly do much worse than Hitchens as a replacement.

Hitchens got a bad report from USA Today. Made me go back and rewatch to make sure my initial impression was correct. They said he struggled to get off blocks and in coverage. I didn't see that at all. In the beginning of the second half he gave up contain and filled the wrong gap inside giving up a run and I would like to see him adjust his drop to attack routes that come right at him off the snap but he was tackling well and very good in pursuit.
Good catch.
