Speaking of Hitch.......the dude has been flat out balling since his return! Looks like a stud MLB actually. In fact he's our best defensive player the past 2 games.

We need someone to help him. Jaylon looks too reactive, Wilson is a non-factor and Durant is on his last leg.

He's a quality option right now because our LBs are awful but yeah, we need an entire new set of LBs on this team.

Yeah, right now the LB corps is the worst unit on the team.

If Lee were healthy it would be better.

If Smith were further along in his recover it would be better.

But they aren't and with Hitchen's health issues and Durant's age.

I would bet they'll draft at least two linebackers and bring in another via free agency.

If Lee can play a few games next season– great!

If Smith can proceed further down the road in his recovery- great!

I wouldn't be surprised if they're the only two linebackers on this season's roster that are on next season's.

I'm more disappointed in the linebackers than any other unit on this team.

I knew the secondary was going to be a work in progress.

I thought the DL would get progressively better... even though the #1 DT thing is an issue.

But the engine has blown when it comes to the linebackers. What a friggin mess.

Hitch i tell you.....he's got some magical healing ability.
2014 high ankle, played the next week and balled out.
2017 preseason injury looked season ending, out 6 games.
This groin injury, will play in 4 days!

So we went almost all DBs and DL last year, so do we go almost all LBs this next draft.
Ignore each unit every year, drafting only mostly one unit. Instead of drafting BPA. Again why did we draft 2 useless DT's last year when we also signed FA DB and DL. But completely ignored the LB position.

Just more dumb mistakes. So now we are hurting at LB.

Have you been watching the game on your phone?? Hitch has been all over the place and been ferocious.

Yeah i'm confused by his post too. He hasn't been flawless. He's been responsible for a few bad plays......but he's been killing it. He's getting smarter at the position and reacting to plays quicker.

I have been a supporter of hitchens so far but the last two games he has been just as awful as smith has at overrunning plays. so I do not know if him playing is going to help the defense or not. he probably will not last the entire game.

Jaylon actually had a decent game. Seen 1 time he got caught up with a lineman and couldn't shed the block but much improved. Still has a ways to go but at least he is improving

What’s the word on Lee? Does he still have his bubble wrap on? Is he done until after Turkey day? If the charges dismantle this team as expected does he just hang it up for the season? No point in bringing him back this season with the team going nowhere he’s on the wrong side of 30. Time to let the young guys play and just deal with it. They need experience
