He is playing a ILB in a 3-4 and it probably suits him more. In a 4-3 I thought he was a good jack of all positions, but I dont think he was skilled enough at any of them to bena plus starter. Valuable player to have, but if he is starting he is a starter you want to replace. Playing downhill suits him bettee than sideline to sideline

Lee's contract is bigger. Other 2 guys are on rookie deals so we'll see how long that lasts. Jaylon is probably going to ink a new deal this offseason. LVE is still an unknown. Paid a high draft price for him, so I wouldn't consider him inexpensive.

Was a good effort player here and glad to see him shine in a starting role.

Jaylon will be a RFA due to his first year not counting towards FA eligibility. So, we could give him a new big deal if Jerry wants to or tender him with a 1st/2nd if they want to for a 5th year.

Hitchens looked solid on Sunday, I would not say he is head and shoulders above what is here. He is now playing in 3-4 which allows him to do what he does best and that is run to the ball. I think he plays the position Lee played in the 3-4

What I don't get is the Chiefs can give him 9mil and Watkins 17mil, and they'll have no problem signing Mahomes and Hunt when it comes time. And over here we are perpetually cap strapped.

He’s hardly the first player to get overpaid on a second contract. It’s boggling to me we have fans who still can’t evaluate his play properly because they have agendas and can’t simply admit they were wrong about the dude.

Our cap struggles are due to the organizations habit of restructuring deals........which is like kicking the cap hit down the road. We have had a lot dead money.

Just wanted to bump this one. Hitchens tackles have decreased each week. 14, 12, 6 and then 3 (only 1 solo) against Denver. I think KC is now seeing the real Anthony Hitchens
