Frankly, any free agent you bring in, we all should pray that they are great here. We all thought that Rivera would be great here having been a pro-bowler and all, and he's done nothing here, hurt or not.

So to me, draft choices are a huge gamble, and free agency is a gamble as well (not as big as the draft, but still a gamble)

Do you all know who missed their block last year when both Warner and Leinhart got hurt.....#75 Leonard Davis. I sure hope he gets a new breath and plays with heart.

As I have stated in many threads in the last few days about Leonard Davis....he is lazy. He plays about 2 out of every 6 plays. Unfortunatly I have had to watch this guy and hear about him on Arizona news stations throughout the season and pre-season. I have seen many Arizona sports shows breaking down film about this gu and "why the Cardinal were letting him walk."

I am pretty upset we paid big money to an OL who is sub par at best. Yes, he is big and it is perceived to be a good signing however under the surface I am scared to death about this guys habits, and motivation. I pray a new team can bring a new dawn

I ask myself this... The arm pit of the NFL (Arizona Cardianls) let this guy walk without even having a player to fill his position, we step in and pay up. I hope someone in Dallas knows something about him that I have not heard or seen. "With Davis gone, the Cardinals are in need of a left tackle. There is no heir apparent to Davis on the roster, and the club will need to fill the void in free agency or the draft."

People may try to bash me and say I don't know I haven't watched him...bullsh** I have seen many, many media breakdowns, reports and live coverage. If you want to bash come at me with stats, not just "he is good in run defense," He did not play his drafted position." I am open to hear your opinion backed with fact, not just a bashing session that some of the people on this board partake in...

My source for m quotes.

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/card...cards0217.html

We are paying him more then his 2nd pick contract in 2001..."The second overall pick in the 2001 draft, Davis has made between $35 million and $40 million from the team in six years, collecting every penny of his rookie contract."

One source for "many, many media breakdowns, reports and live coverage?

You would like for us to come at you with facts yet you say you "saw" some things? What kind of fact is that? You get to see him play for one season and you've determined all of this? You give us 1 source from a reporter that says what every other Joe on the street has been saying for months? This is rubbish. This is borderline Hard Copy crap. I would like to see all of these many, many outlets that you "saw", listed. Hit us with facts, as you requested, and not a little 'ol hate mail thread you've created trying in vain for us to agree with things you have "seen". Not gonna work. Very, very weak.

Try a little harder, and next time........include some form of fact.

I hate the pick-up. You can't teach hard work. That was learned back in kindergarten and your entire life. You can't do a 180 even if you wanted to.:banghead:

Look, my source is that I live in Arizona and have seen and heard many many breakdowns just as I said. One source is the Cardinals site, another is my own experiance. I could look ANYWHERE and find facts if you know anything about sources you would know your own experiences and knowledge written count as a source. Look at his scouting report.

So you saying my source is weak and you are no where close to Arizona is a cop out because you can not present anything to this post. Bring something factual other then your own opinion to the post AS I ASKED in the very first post. RIF = Reading is Fundamental...try it.

Good try though, some people are bright enough to see through your run on sentences that you bring nothing to the argument.

I will argue LD tenure as a failure in Arizona with you until I am blue in the face. What I was asking from the educated folks here was to present why it was not a failure and why he is good in Dallas. You obviously could not. Again, nice try.

Aikman got most of his concussions outside the pocket usually scrambling. He didn't get many standing there less than 3 seconds.

Aikman also liked to wait till the last second to deliver the pass, giving his WR the best chance to make a play. Back then that meant you were gonna get hammered. Nowadays, it means the defense will get called for hurting the poow wittwe quawtewback.
