This guy isn't anywhere near as talented as Scandrick. TCU's scheme helped his stats as he blitzed a lot.

My only problem in watching that video is that a lot of his tackles were by wrestling guys to the ground. I'm not sure if that will work in the NFL against stronger players. We shall see though.

I was impressed. He was where he needed to be, when he needed to be there. Not just the blitzes, but stopping receivers in open space. That is not easy at any level. This is just one game, though. I would have to see him in several games before annointing him the replacement for anyone.

Wade said he projects as a LB.

I'd give him a shot at Burnett's role, and I don't see any way we put him at safety.

Wade also said he was one of the best special teamers they saw on tape, and they thought he had special ability in that area. Said Hodge once made five tackles on KO coverage in one game, and he didn't think he'd seen that before.

Personally, I really like this pick. I'm not sure exactly how he'll do at LB and/or how good his lateral agility is, but someone that big and fast you can find a place for.
