the annoucers just suck the life out of the game.

I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but Chris Collinsworth is NOT the worst broadcaster on tonight.

Bryant Gumble is TERRIBLE.....He is (or was) a decent TV host...but he stinks as a play-by-play guy.

i know it is only the first preseason game, but the Saints are horrible. their defense is porous and soft. their offense has done nothing at all.

really the only good thing about their D so far as been the back to back sacks on batch, but the steelers still got the chance for a FG attempt.

this might be premature, but i have a feeling that the Saints are going to regret letting Horn leave. his leadership, intensity, and production will not be easily replaced.

I agree. Pre Season means nothing in terms of regular season success. The Cards always play good in the PS and end up sucking once the games count.

As I remember, the Saints' defense was that way last year when they played Dallas in the preseason, but it got better somehow for the real thing.

Agree wholeheartedly about Gumble. I was hoping he wouldn't be back on NFL network games this year. He's just not cut out to be a play-by-play man.
