HOF thoughts Witten & Romo

I read experts and fans alike state that Witten will be a shoe in for the HOF--I agree he is most deserving.

However, when Romo is mentioned for the HOF these same folks say maybe/maybe not--I say why?

When you examine Romo body of work........he deserves it.

Think they could/should eventually get in but think Tony will end up waiting around like Charles Haley.

It hurts to say but Romo isn't there yet. 2 Playoff wins is twice as much as he entered the season with, however, without a Superbowl victory or at least a Superbowl appearance his chances are low.

Heck, he won't even win the MVP this year -- many of the same voters who vote for MVP vote for the HOF.

But Moon is a special case. He was essentially locked out of the NFL for the first 5 years of his career because he was a black man who wanted to play QB.

Romo isnt getting in to Canton. He plays in an era where defense isnt allowed and most of the voters will look his performances in games where the lights were brightest and vote no. He wasnt particularly good today, not blaming the loss on him, but Rogers was clutch when it counted on one leg.
