HOF weekend - roll call

We are just several weeks away from one of the greatest weekends in Pro Football.

Emmitt is getting inducted...


So, who plans to be there?

Sadly, I will be reduced to being in front of my TV and watching NFL Network.

But I will be there in spirit and will be sporting my Cowboy gear.

Anyone who goes, take pics to post and I want to see at least one CowboysZone banner in the crowd.

I'll be there with my Dad and my brother. I'm going to Wolf Camera sometime this week to prepare...I need an extra memory card and battery for my DSLR.

We arrive on the 6th - tour the hall that night. Do all the festivities on the 7th including floor seats to enshrinement, then going to the HOF game on the 8th - 38 Yard line seats!

Flying in Saturday. Game tickets arrived on
Monday. Can't wait.

I'm there.

We arrive on the 6th - tour the hall that night. Do all the festivities on the 7th including floor seats to enshrinement, then going to the HOF game on the 8th - 38 Yard line seats!

Sounds exactly like our weekend - arrive the morning of the 6th, tour everything and hit the barbecue, hang around again on the 7th for enshrinement, and then hit the game on Sunday night and fly home on the morning of the 9th.

Good count so far....

Wife and I get there on Thurs.. going to the Rib Burnoff that day.

Friday going to the HOF in the a.m, the going to the Enshrinees "cocktail" party (excuseee me, LOL) followed by the Enshrinees dinner aka Gold Jacket ceremony.

Sat, going to the parade in the a.m., Tailgate party and Eshrinment that pm and evening..

Sun, Rountable luncheon the HOF game that evening..


If you see a fat guy waving a Cowboys flag, that'll be me, stop and say hello...

My wife and I will be there for Emmitt's induction and the HOF game. Luckily we live just 45 minutes from Canton....Can't wait!!

Going to be a 5 hour drive for me but I am coming in for it all, induction, and game. Side note: Did you guys realize the house from "A Christmas Story" is near there too? You know the "you'll shoot your eye out movie". The little boy in that movie is coming back to the house that week to give tours. Might have to check that out too. But over all, the weekend is all about Emmitt.

I'll be there Saturday for induction. I've been lucky enough to be in Canton to see Dorsett, Randy White, Aikman, Irvin, Wright and now Emmitt get inducted. Can't wait. looking for a couple of cheap tickets to the game.

I was planning on riding out there since I was laid off...lol. But unfortunately a friend is getting married that weekend. That was going to be part of my Sturgis ride.

I'll be there with the family. Driving out from D.C. on Friday, Enshrinement on Saturday, Game on Sunday.

Will kickoff the week with the HOF 2 mile run (srew that 5 miles) on Aug 1 and go from there. Always take in the festivities, this year should be extra fun.
