Holding calls

Last night, I watched the Saints OL hold on numerous plays, and don't recall one penalty. Most noticeably was the play where Henderson dropped the TD pass. That could have been disastrous, but if our guy (can't remember who...Ratliff?) wasn't held, that was a sack.

I'll admit it probably goes both ways, but this was obvious.

I wish the refs were more consistent on these calls. they usually almost always seem to favor our opponents.

I also think holding should be a 5 yd. penalty instead of a 10 yd. penalty. That's too much to overcome, and it is too inconsistently called.

Anyways...great game!

They called one, when the OL grabbed Ratliff and yanked his jersey. Ratliff was going ballistic even before the play was through about it.

They missed a really easy call on either Spencer or Ware on that play where Henderson dropped the TD. No way should that one have been missed.

They were called for the one where the olineman grabbed Rat's jersey from the back.

The Eagles should be 1 game behind us right now but they were allowed to hold against the Commanders in their last match up.

That game still angers me.

What's funny is that whoever the defensive player was on that dropped TD pass actually got held TWICE. He used a swim move of sorts to get out of the first and then when he almost got to the QB he was held AGAIN.

It's about as obvious as it gets as well.
