Still should have been a penalty though. You can't come out on the field and try to pick up the ball like that... whether or not you touch it.

I'm just wondering why it wasn't an automatic first down.

Apparently the kid is Mack Brown's step-son.

That whole thing was inexplicable, but I don't think he came on the field to try to pick up the ball. He was motioning to someone, then saw the ball down, went to reach for it and tried to pull it back. Look down the sidelines on that angle, there are tons of guys on the field. This particular guy happened to be close to the ball, but he didn't change the path of it.

There's a sideline warning rule for a reason.

Good... thanks for asking!

I'm torn on this game.

I hate the Horns but I picked them in my office pool and I generally like seeing the Big 12 win.

My heart seems to be going towards AZ state, though. Couldn't help but laugh at that play.

BTW, what is that picture of in your avatar?

Doin aight. Just wasting some time watching this game. I'm probably not gonna finish it though. I don't think I've finished a full college football game all year. I HATE the BCS.

But yeah I don't remember ever seeing a play like that. Sometimes I have wished that someone off the Cowboys sideline went out and laid some guy out as he's running down the sideline though :D

i dont think he touched it either, still he shouldnt have been going for it im not sure what he was thinking. he made a fool of himself and they kept showing him. he might want to get a hair cut .

I maybe bias. But I think Jamaal Charles has been the best back in the country in the 2nd half of the season.

I have. I knew it looked familiar! It's in the American History museum.

The Smithsonian is a huge, multi-facility series of museums. If you ever visit, plan on spending a couple of days visiting them all.

Yeah pretty much like that. Actually I'd love to see like Romo throw a pick down by the end zone (well, i wouldn't love that part but you get what I mean), and someone like Fred Smoot run it back with no one around him. About the time he crosses midfield, DeMarcus Ware leaves the bench and just de-cleats him. I would pay good money to see that, penalty be damned.

how was AZstate ranked #4 for most of the year?

I live in Chandler AZ and have been to quite a few games of the Devils, they are overrated, very much so imo.

They had a very easy first part of the season, and didnt win a single tough game except for U of Cal.

Rudy Carpenter is a TO waiting to happen. They wouldve been better in the latter part of the season if Ryan Torrain didnt get hurt. He was a damn good RB.

Good question. Almost halftime now and they look done. A comeback looks improbable.
