Marion Barber didn't join the Cowboys for today's practice, as has been the case all but a couple days since he dislocated his right pinkie toe on Thanksgiving.
At this point, nobody at Valley Ranch is counting on Barber to return to the workhorse role this season. The best-case scenario is that he'll be effective while splitting time with rookie Tashard Choice. Barber has only 2 yards on 10 carries in the last two games.
LG Montrae Holland (ankle) also sat out practice. He's not expected to play Sunday in Philadelphia, but he isn't wearing the protective boot any more.
Starting safeties Keith Davis and Ken Hamlin, who have played with nagging injuries the last two weeks, are practicing. So is TE Jason Witten, although he didn't participate in passing lines and will probably be limited while nursing a sore ankle and various other injuries.
Oh, and LB Bobby Carpenter (calf/knee) is back out there.

Wow.This isnt good at all.The proctologist and Choice picking up blitzes.Say goodnite folks.

Did Procter play the first time against Philly, or was that the game Kosier returned?

Choice is good at picking up the blitz. I'm more worried about Proctor than Choice.

Proctor played the whole 1st game against philly. But they didn't blitz us that much in the 1st game.

Well, normally I might agree with you, but then I read this...

Oh, and LB Bobby Carpenter (calf/knee) is back out there.

...and a soothing calm came over me. We are saved. Bobby's back.

Proctor == :vomit:

I'm guessing he'll be spinning like a top at some point.

That is because Romo, made them paid for it with deep passes to Owens, one going for a 72yd TD.

Yea but Carpenter will be the spark here to get us going LOL. People have unrealistic expectations. He was only a first round pick...
