Holy Crap! It's Not Just Rob's Defense

Well the fact that he said he didn't want to disrespect any of his players is an indictment in and of itself.

But really it's a non-issue either way, a lot of coaches don't like to call their players out by name or on an individual basis.

Then he must be a terrible coach. 'cause I learned here during the first 8 games last season that if the coach doesn't come out in every press conference announcing which players sucked that day he's a terrible coach.

Hmm..they must not have won the Super Bowl last year and must have a new DC as well......interesting......

I think we're in for a really sloppy first couple of weeks of the season. With no offseason program prior to TC a lot of teams are gonna struggle early

"I don't want to disrespect any of my players here," McCarthy said. "But we look great on paper, there's no doubt about it. But we're not close to where we need to be as a football team. We realize that. We have a lot of work to do. So I'm not going to throw out any bouquets today."

The Packers are complaining about their offensive team. Therefore, the question is "Could Rob's defense stop the Packers offense in a scrimmage?".:D

No way!!!! I mean I thought the Cowboys were the only ones making mistakes.

Except no one ever implied such a thing. We had a bad practice and Ryan took responsibility. That's supposed to mean that other teams don't have similarly bad practices? Ridiculous.

There's no such thing as a bad practice. That's what some people fail to comprehend.

Oh brother. So Ryan took responsibility for something that never happened? Just because you can learn something from bad practices doesn't mean they don't exist. We lost a game to the Rams in 1992, and Jimmy blamed it on sloppy practices leading up to that game. I'll take his word over yours.

He had a mic in his face and asked why his defense was so terrible after a week of practice. He said it's on me. It was a shot at the media because they're inherently clueless.

I'm sorry you're so butthurt to think that a soft contact scrimmage a week into training camp means anything at all other then to see how guys react in game speed.

Take a valium. It'll be okay.

Edit: Show me a bad practice. I really enjoy the JJ reference too. Even though it's completely irrelevant. Common sense, you don't have it.

I know, who would've thought that a team might not exactly be set to go after 1 week of practice, particularly when there were no OTA's.

Isn't it funny how all those "rules" only apply in Dallas with our players, coaches, and front office?
