I would normally agree with you that our home crowds suck, but I thought it was very good last night.

This was my second Cowboys game at ATT. During the first (Minnesota in 2013) I was surprised at how bad the Dallas home crowd was.

But I thought last night was much, much better. The crowd was lively and the place was downright rocking most of the 4th quarter.

Amen. Was a great game to be at.

I haven't watched the game yet but I'm guessing the broadcast didn't do it justice. The crowd was loud and the stadium was rockin'....especially in the 4th. My section, 102, did awesome. You could just sense a weird vibe up until the last two td drives. The crowd was loud enough to make my ears ring when Witten scored the game winner.

Fighting someone pulling for the same team...That is crazy.

I want to punch everyone wearing that stupid, over-sized Styrofoam cowboy hat. That's worse than the cheese hat.

Do you go to the games? I'm going to ***** about it every time, so you may want to go ahead and block me if it really makes you this UMAD. I still love you, though.

Actually, yes I do. 8 times a year at least. My friend's and I generally take our laptops and work on PE spreadsheets for our massive stock portfolios, or just meditate.

FYI... "Sources" say UMAD is do for a big run-up next month, so if mom or dad will loan you a few K, you might wanna take a LEAP on a chunk of calls ASAP. Keep it on the DL though k. We don't want the stiff-collars at the SEC sniffin' around do we!!??

I was of course watching the game at home. But where was the crowd noise last night? When the defense is on the field that place should have been rocking no matter the score.

I guess they were too busy fighting each other....

The game was boring until the end. You don't generate crowd noise with boring.

This is such a copout. It's like saying, "real die-hard fans are poor." There are party passes, and cheaper tickets available to every game.

The stadium is way too big to generate a lot of crowd noise, its just how it was built.

If you want crowd noise, you have to build the seats a lot closer to the field and at a much greater angle, like what they have in Seattle. You obviously cant do this with what is in essence a "free standing arched dome".

The video board also contributes to this. The higher up you sit, the more you tend to watch the video board compared to the players on the field. It becomes almost like watching a movie and people naturally just sit and much away on their hot dogs and popcorn while starring silently at the video board.

It is a technological marvel, but is horrible if you are trying to create any crowd noise or hostile environment for the other team. Just for an example, I have never heard one single opponent comment after the game that they had to go to a silent count due to crowd noise.
