I don't know if MM can impact this, but it tires me to see the Cowboys lacking HFA. There is no fear by opponents, many opposing fans show up, and the glitz and glamour is Jerry's trademark.

HFA is up to the fans.
MM will need to show the fans he is the right guy to keep the fans there.

But the fans will need to show up and be loud as he gives them a reason to be.
Also I think there will be enough hype from having a new coaching staff, the fans will be there to be loud.
 
We are better at home than in the Romo era. I believe we're 22-10 at home since Dak's been here. Did I do that math correctly?
 
maybe attend a game? This is a complete myth. So much so that teams have openly talked about preparing for the noise here.

The eagles writers in 09 referred to the stadium after they lost here week 17 and had to return the following sat for the wild card game as similar to a soccer game with the 100K fans and the incredible noise level.

A lot of noon games through the years at both stadiums have been quiet and lackluster. The night games are always great and the playoff games have been terrific in the stadium.

The final drive for Detroit in 14 was as good as it gets and so was that fourth quarter in 2016 vs green bay. The 09 eagles game to me in the first half was still the best along with the 16 packers game and the 09 game against the giants.

the cowboys radio broadcast always mentions how dull and un intimidating the giants and eagles stadium/crowds are. I am not a big fan of the new stadium to be honest but in this past decade we have a louder crowd at home with all the people than Philly or NY.....and even with 90k available in Washington no one cares anymore there. Back in 04 and 05 when Gibbs had returned the Commanders had a fantastic home crowd..loud and rowdy.
 
its tough for ANY indoor stadium to have a true HFA..other then fans being loud

I mean theres no wind to take advantage of one direction being chosen over the other, there no snow, rain, cold, or heat(choosing lighter jersey and forcing away team to wear dark colors) and lastly no high altitude etc..

unless he fugues out a few games in late fall, early winter we have that sun issue and use it to our advantage theres not anything any coach or player can do to give us a advantage at home..

Just field a good/complete team and usually those things will take care of itself. HFA can be hit or miss but it's not guaranteed every year. The Seahawks lost 4 games at home this year. The Saints lost 3 games in the Superdome, including the playoffs. Those 2 stadiums are generally regarded as the loudest in the league.

5-3 at home this year.
8-1 at home last year.

Each year, the bulk of all first-run tickets sold (and not bought by resellers) are purchased by fans affiliated with their favorite franchise. A certain percentage of 'many opposing fans showing up' at an opponent's stadium can always be attributed to second-run or subsequent ticket sales made through the resell market. Another percentage of those fans gained access to seats at an opponent's stadium via tickets initially purchased in bulk by the resellers.

Want to point fingers at the main culprit of opposing fans seen at a stadium? The resell market should be the target.

Jerry needs to pass out D cell batteries for the fans to throw at the opposing team. That should tilt home field advantage back in our favor.

The team should use the decibel meter on the video screen more.

I used it to up my sound level. Feedback was helpful.

well thats my point MM cant control that but the fans can, they/we better get on it but reading few posts here they say when it does get loud and has for biggest games, it is one of the loudest in the league..
