I thought the last few years they have gotten in their own way and the show was missing something . The last few episodes of this year I thought the writers got their groove back. The show may never capture the drama of the first few seasons but to me it finally kicked into get the past few weeks. Some of the stuff seems to be do-overs especially with Carries Manic disorder and issues with being a good mom.
It also appears the show is trying to mirror some reality to what is going on now between Russia and the US and watching the show makes you wonder how much of it or could any of it be true.
Still one of my favorite TV shows.
