Does Dak telegraph his passes? You hear commentators mention that QB's fool secondary's with their eyes, I never seem to get the impression that Dak hides his intentions through his progressions......if I look in your direction i'm throwing there regardless of cover.

He’s inconsistent that’s the issue. There are times when he telegraphs and times when he does a good job looking off the safety all depends on what kind of pocket pressure he’s getting

The pressure is the difference. Against a half way decent defense he folds his reads and decision making don't get faster and the ball does not come out faster.

1 thing that impressed me in the Tampa Bay game last week is how he would throw the defense off with his eyes, shoulders and overall motions.

The offensive game plan was stealth that day and so was Dak. It was starting to look like that this game once the offense got its momentum and then Dak through that 2nd pick.

San Fran goes down the field to score that FG just before halftime.

Pollard going down hurt but we also didn't create any play action. Dak had no lanes to run either but we should have utilized some roll outs. We did on a 4th down and it worked well.

It is what it is. The game is over and we didn't adjust to a defense that didn't respect Zeke at all and was sitting on intermediate routes all game.

It appears to me that he often decides where he is going before the ball is snapped. If its a longer developing route and he has been coached in practice to do so, he will try and look off the coverage. He is not quick enough, nor smart enough to do the same on the quicker hitters, which is why we see defenders jumping the routes on a routine basis.

He is easy to defend.

Disagree slightly.. I think he is easy to 'plan' to defend.. but he isn't entirely easy to defend.. that is why we will win a lot of regular season games. You will often hear defenders or opposition talking about knowing our game plan and still being unable to stop it.

He is still an average QB.. but when he is on fire and in the groove.. and all the parts are working.. he and the O are hard to stop.. but if you have a quality defence and well drilled.. then yes he is very very very easy to defend.

His ints are because he under throws or doesn’t see the defenders in his Peripheral vision and sometimes both.

Dak plays his best when he is scrambling the edges like Mahomes, he did that his rook year. Garret tried to make him Roger Staubach drop back pocket passer and it has failed, is sad Kellen has not seen this in video but I suspect Kellen was tainted by the horrible QB and Coach that was Jason Garret too.

If McCarthy cannot get the to dump all that Garret coached into them the. He needs to replace them.

7 seasons in and as some commentators have already said: Dak makes rookie mistakes by starring down his first read and makes bad throws at times.

Dak is not improving but rather regressing:

17 INT's in 14 games this season for Dak (including the playoffs)

Dak has a major panic button in his brain. He constantly throws wild passes into double coverage and blanketed receivers. He is not a great QB and unfortunately, Jerry has to stand behind
him to justify the enormous contract he's stuck with now.

Did a awesome job of this against Tampa yesterday not so much.
So the question is why....how he can look so good one week and then falls apart as soon as something goes wrong (TP and running game). My uneducated eye says he panic's in the face of adversity.

I just think he is an average QB who needs to be surrounded by weapons around him. Dak isn’t elite and unfortunately the Jones team makeup makes the assumption he is. Who really scares the other team on offense Pollard and Lamb. Once Pollard went out it was easy for the 49ers to stop the offense

It’s hard to explain but he looks like a 7 year vet one game and than like a rookie the next game

inconsistency personified

100% correct .....

He can’t read defences
He can’t handle pressure
He can’t throw with anticipation

Otherwise he’s fine

Not winning a SB with this idiot. Move on now. But of course we won’t
We ain't winning with the idiot OC as well. You mean to tell me, an OC and QB are tied to the hip, and this is what we continue to get......more free passes for KMoore than you can get at the State Fair?

Yeah he does that for a game or so then everyone thinks he's great
