Campo's contract is up.
Clearly, JJ and Campo have quite a bit of history, as do Garrett and Campo most likely (during the Super Bowl days of the 90s).
Do Garrett and R Ryan blame him for the lack of secondary success, or do they blame the players (Newman, Walker and Ball who are JAGs)? (or maybe both the coach and players?)
I know nearly everyone on this Board hopes that Campo is gone. But the question is whether Garrett and R Ryan move in another direction?
I think Houck's situation is a bit easier in that he appears ready for retirement. But I don't think Campo is looking to retire yet.
I really don't have an idea of what either Garrett or Ryan think of Campo's teaching/coaching ability. I think he was the coach last year because Garrett couldn't get the Secondary coach who he wanted (I think he went to Arizona instead).
This year, Garrett/Ryan probably will have more guys who they can bring in for the job if they want to go in that direction.
