Honestly, I'm a little worried...

Stop Tiki early, and score early. Don't even let them in the game. Eli is lacking confidence, and you can see it from the FIRST pass in the game yesterday.

I Know The Giants Are Terrible And All, But They Are Coming Off 3 Straight Losses!!!

I Think Coughlin Motivates These Guys And Tell Them That Their Season Depends On This Game.

If They Lose This Game, Thats 4 Straight And Their Chances For The Division And The Playoffs Are Over.

My Freinds As Much As I Love Our Cowboys Im Just Saying That I Think That This Will Be A Hell Of A Tough Game To Win Between The Fans, The Giants, And The Refs!!!

I Hope Bill Can Get Our Team Up Like He Did For The Colts Game.

Use That Shockey Video As Much As He Can To Have Us Go In With That "killer Mentality" To Hunt For Blood On Defense.

Trust in ROMO and everything will be great!

It was kind of strange. I saw the Giants up 21-0 and thought to myself "well, good. I don't want them to be desperate next Sunday." Then I saw the score go 21-7 and thought "well, it would be nicer to see Tennessee win so Dallas could have a 1 game lead, but I still don't want to face a desperate team."

Then I thought "the best possible scenario would be for the Titans to somehow win this game since it would be a devastating loss that would overwhelm any sense of desperation. But that ain't gonna happen."

Next thing I know I hear Joe Buck say "for those of you who have been trying to follow the Giants Titans game, the Titans have made a 21 point comeback and are now tied."

Then I started thinking "well, the Giants will either pull this one out or win in overtime" and the next thing I see on the TV screen is Tennessee up by 3 points with :06 left.

Anyway, the Cowboys need to come in and just win the game. Being fearful in this type of game and not putting the G-Men away and securing a spot in the playoffs is a sign of a team that will most likely not go to the Super Bowl. The G-Men are really reeling. They don't like each other or their coaching staff and Shockey keeps yapping his trap. Not to mention their plethora of injuries. I think the key would be to get an INT early in the game and see the G-Men implode from there.

Honestly, we should be worried.

Every team should worry about every opponent.

I have seen too much over the years to feel any different.

I hope the players realize this all week.
you're right in that every week the team needs to be prepared, etc. Any team can win on any sunday.

but the players didn't forget the debacle in dallas vs NYG, where they got embarrased on TV and had their team captain benched and tuna apologizing to fans.

thanks guys for the responses i thought it was just me.

I just have a feeling that with our penalty problems that stadium is going to be loud!!!

just remember (which im still having nightmares of) what happened to flozell and columbo the last times we played them..... can you say false start!!

I hope that strahan and usi whatever doesn't play.

We can praise romo all we want but if they play toro again to the g-men we wont be able to get the passing game in gear the way we would want to.

Overall I do like everyone else feel alot better with romo at this point and it will take a monster game from everyone to get this win.

2 things that worry me is our run defense which made cadillac earn his name back until they got behind and had to stop running.
and everyone here knows that tiki barber is a cowboy killer.

And as much as you guys know that i love roy williams, he always has problems with Shockey. A shockey that will have to come to play because he was running his mouth.

I think that this game will come down to the trenches which team's o-line and d-line steps it up.

If the cowboys can harrass eli like they did big brother peyton i see 3int's in his future. they also must stop tiki barber.

but if the giants d-line steps up and pressure romo like they did in his debut and force our deaf left tackle into holding and false start penalties or our young right tackle into the same.....its going to be a long day.

Bottom line folks(in my opinion)---- If the O-line comes to play and we can actually run the ball effectively, and protect romo we'll win this one easily.

I think they'll take their lumps but overall they'll get it done and romo comes through again. My stat line for romo 240 yds passing 2tds 1int

The score dallas 21- nyg-17 romo drives the cowboys to game winning td pass
in 4th quater after cowboys been down 17-7 going into the 4th.(also the board freaking out the whole game until the 4th)

^^ either you don't watch the giants much or you are just posting out of some superstition.

the stadium will be LOUD with COWBOY FANS ;)

the giants aren't that good on O, D or ST sorry.

NJ is Tuna's stomping grounds... practically a HOME game. might even be a mass-exodus of fans (ie. more 'boys fans in the stands than even usual)

no excuses

"Should" is a funny word, a word too often taken as a synonym for "will".

The Giants could wake up and have a strong game at any time, so we had better be prepared.

Parcells familiarity with NJ DOES NOT make it like a home game - the 45 or so players that will do the work on the field aren't quite as comfortable there as Parcells may be.

I'm excited about the game - I certainly expect us to win, and hopefully without it going down to the wire - but we have to be realistic too.

It will be a true test for the young Romo, and if we get out there with a win, it will boost us into the playoffs!

i'm definitely worried (then again, i'm worried about every game)

- giants are hungry for a win
- giants have lost 3 in a row
- this takes place in a hostile environment
- division game
- see last game against the Commanders :bang2:

I think all the reliance on Romo to lead this team over the next two games against the Jints and NO is a mistake.

The Jints are in deep water. But just like last year, when we had a chance to go into NY and beat them and be the clear favorites in the NFC..we imploded and struggled and crashed after that game.

We do not play well in NY.

And as for Manning, I'd remind the peanut gallery that he has carved us up the last two games he's played against us and some QBs just seem to have our number.

Ali Manning has it right now. And has had it for about the last 4 games we have played them. He plays well against us. For some reason, our defense plays into his strengths.

And if we end up blowing the Jints game, the NO is the one to be really afraid of.

Sean Payton knows our defense and offense inside out and Brees is VERY VERY HOT right now..as hot as Romo has been. Maybe more.

And they definitely will be playing for their division or a wild card two weeks from now, too.

Just like us.

So as great as things have been recently, one or two slips coming up and we are back in a hole...a big hole.

We are 3 wins from locking up a playoff spot at this point. This is exactly like the scenario as last year.

My question is, did this team learn anything from last year..?

If so, can they overcome their habit of choking against winning teams in games that matter..?

The next two weeks are going to be very, very dicey.

If we lose both games, which we could, we'd have to run the table and win our last three to get into the playoffs.

And that's not likely.

We'll see.

dude, relax. Replay Sunday's Giants loss in your head, and visualize the look in Eli's eyes. I'm telling you guys, he is way over his head MENTALLY. His head is still in college, with a little mix of Coughlin's lack of motivation

There is no confidence there, so that's good for us!!!

Make no mistake, this game is going to be a huge challenge. New York is going to be out for blood, and their banged up DE's will find a way to play. Giants Stadium, with those swirling, cold winds is a tough place to win.

What's more, if New York wins they can forget the last month ever happened because they'll be back on top in the East and will have punched a hole of doubt in the confidence of their main rival.

Yeah, I guess you are right...the Cowboys don't have the talent or the desire, much less the coaching, to win this game...they have only come this far on luck alone...those road game that Romo learned on won't do him any good this time around, poor guy!

Yeah, the Giants are going to smother the Cowboys...and then their season will be doomed, again....

We do not play well in NY

Won in 2003. Played one of our better games of the season in 2004 (just lost because our defense was tired) and even last year when they were injured to all hell, they only lost 17-10 despite getting screwed on a Keith Davis INT that got turned back by a PI call when Plaxico pushed off.

You don't think that Parcells will have the team fired up?

I think the more important thing here is that OUR season depends on this game.

That was a huge win for the Boys! Parcells was into the game showing tons of emotion. That was the year he proclaimed "you can't call them losers anymore". It was a bitter sweet time for us Cowboys and although the board was on fire with the obvious debates, it sure feels good to appear to be over the hump of playing scared football. We have the right pieces at the right skill positions to make noise beyond this Giant game. We are progressing without any glaring weaknesses so when we play, we are playing without looking over our shoulder. Almost all of our positions are sound enough to take care of business with a high level of confidence as opposed to the 2003 playoff team.

In short, I think we are going to go into the swamp and punch a pothole in the face of the Giants and keep it moving. We have a lot of reasons to be pumped up for this game as well not only the Giants. They embarresed us in our Texas stadium. It's payback time.

this game will be a tough one, there's no way the Giants will just lay down for us.

No they won't roll over for us. However, the difference this time around is we are playing better football, we appear to be on track to reach the heights that some have predicted for us in the beginning of the year. We've had longer to prepare for them. We've had less distractions that SHOULD equate to better attention to detail and preperation. The biggest advantage is we have the edge at the skill positions over the Giants.

They only way that we lose is that we make dumb mistakes to cost us the game. I can't imagine that happening. At least not this week.

I dont think the Cowboys are buying into their own hype, but emotions will be charged for this game. The Giants are REELING, and they need this win badly. A loss here eliminates the Giants imo, and the second place team will be the Skins.
