Hoodwinked, yet again!

Every year in July we are told that this year will be different. Heck, this year we were told tge Cowboys got some secret sauce. The twelve package. The emulation of the Patriots use of three tight end sets. The Kiffen Martenelli defenses that would aggressively rush the passer and rip the ball from opposing offenses. That our offensively line would not cost us games. And I, for one, bought into all the BS. We were hoodwinked, yet again.

Well boys and girls, this is the same pass first, run second, get holding calls at just the wrong times, give up long drives and huge sums of passing yardage AND LOSE winnable games. The entire team slept through much of the first half and made all the usual errors at the end of the game.

We are nothing more than another 8-8 team. How many more 8-8 years will the fan base tolerate?

The irony here is the 12 personnel is supposed to force the other team to cover Escobar with a linebacker. Instead, Escobar didn't catch a pass, but the Chargers torched us by forcing our linebackers to cover Gates, who had 10 catches for 136 yds, including a 56 yd TC catch.

The last 2 weeks are what cheering for this team have been all about for awhile now.

I'm not putting today on Garrett but hiring Wade and then Jason Garrett were the biggest mistakes this franchise have made since Jerry fired Jimmy.

It was a complete waste of the Romo era.

It look like they have successfully killed all of the Romo magic as well and now we have ourselves a bus driver.

Give me my Brett Favre Romo back and get rid of this Alex Smith style Romo.

Fundamentally this is all about money. Jerry fields a team that is just good enough to keep fans believing enough to pay the ticket prices, food and merchandise. Nothing will change as long as the fans keep eating the putrid dog food. And, obtw, you are absolutely right about Wade and Red. Neither is or ever will be a legitimate head coach. The total mis use of our running game is just flat out stupid.

I said last week if JG didn't run Murray he'd lose the team and I think it's starting to happen. Romo is partly to blame as well as he has bought into the belief that he's the best option to win via pass. The fans, Jerry, Jason & Tony are dillusional about this team being better suited to pass for premium success. It's not, romo stats are Trent Dilfer like to be such a great passing team!

Gates runs a 4.5 with a vertical of 39". Escobar runs a 4.84 w/a decent but nowhere's close 32". Why the lack of measurable didn't play out more in the Cowboys judgment...I have no idea.

Yeh JJ is part of the problem. Afterall, he is the guy who hired that incompetent Ivy league boy JG. We all know that but get used to it. JJ isn't going anywhere. Next best thing is to get rid of the 2nd guy on that food chain.

As long as Jerry is the GM you'll be fooled again and again and again......new coach, what changes? Who else you going to blame? What's the one instant with this team? Yep, that's right...Jerry. Yes he is not going anywhere I know, but no matter who our coach is, all I read is it's the coaches fault and until we change coaches we won't win... well we change coaches and we still don't win....Notice the pattern.

Out of all those coaches past 15 years, all but Campo and JG has gotten us a division title and to the playoffs. I want a coach that can at least get us to the playoffs. Someone that can get us beyond 8-8. That'll be a good start.

And as I mentioned, you can complain all you want about JJ but JJ isn't going anywhere.
