Hope Torrin Tucker is with this team next year.

I know he has some problems but he DOES have some good talent. I am not sure why but I have a feeling he might not be to far away from being pretty good.

He will not take Flos job but if he gets everything together he could seriously challenge for another starting job on the OL. I would not be surprised if he ends up being pretty good next year.

I am not gonna quit on Tucker. Alota people quit on T-New and Brady James and look at them now. I think next year could be the beginning of many good ones for Tucker.

He's as good a backup as one can hope for.

Tucker has the blocking ability to start even though he wasnt until Flo's injury. BP has always said he has the talent but didnt have the mental aspect down. It seems he has both down now, and is developing. IMO if he isnt a starting guard for us after Rivera/LA leave I will be suprised (note the bold print).

Once he gets the mental thing down Tucker has all the stuff to be very good. I would not be surprised if he has a pretty easy time beating out Riveira for the guard spot.

It would be great if Tucker really improves and we get LeCharles Bently at Center. We would would then have a much better OL next year then this year.

...important free agent signings we can do next year. Sometimes it's not who you are signing from another roster, but rather the guys you can keep from losing.

He's a young serviceable lineman who can possibly play three positions on the o-line. You need to keep those guys for depth if they can't crack your starting lineup.

At the very least, Tucker is proving he's a dependable backup. And really, that's as much as we could hope for.

I am picking Tucker as a possible surprise player next year. I would not be surprised if he really takes off and is a solid starter on our OL.

I never quit on Brady James or T-New and look at them now. So I am hoping my not quitting on Tucker will lead to the same thing. :)

Well said. I think he could be an above average starting guard.

Hopefully Flo gets healthy and Tucker beats out Petitti for RT. That is if we don't bring a free agent in.

ACtually if he gets the mental thing down he could be a very good guard. He has speed which would mean he could be a good pulling guard. That would mean we would be better on sweeps and also screen passes.

Give Petitti a break. He is doing the best he can. All things considered, he is doing just fine.

That's very true.

Petitti is doing OK given the circumstances. This wasn't going to be 6-10 to SB contender in one year. I don't care what other's thought. You watch the progress this guy makes between the end of this season and the start of next season.

I am giving Pettiti a break. I understand the guy is young and is going through some groing pains and all, it's just that sometimes he seems like he doesnt go 100% and that is what bothers me.

Pettiti is a rookie and has played very well for us. Give him an offseason in the weight room with Parcells and some decent coaching and he will develop into a beast. He is going to be more expereinced and a LOT stronger next year. Developing young players physically in the offseason conditioning program is one of the things that Parcells really does right.

I think Pettiti is gonna be ok. Like Jack Magist said get him in the weight room and watch out.

What I like in Tucker is he is big and he is strong and he is also athletic and has speed. I am just hopin he gets the mental thing down. If he does he will be very solid guard for us.

Lets hope my string of not quittin on players who almost everyone else did keeps alive.

I kept faith in Brady and T-New. Now lets I keep the streak alive by keeping faithin Tucker and Pettiti.
