LOL I had the same reaction to that statement. They are a mess.

Cleveland has been competitive in every game this year. I'm legit nervous about this one especially after such an emotional win.

Last night was the ugliest victory ever. We had been getting better every week until then. I hope we can get back in a groove next week before moving on to Pittsburgh. I'll take the win, but I'd prefer not to see one like it again this season.
We have worked our way thru the Bengal, Packers and now Philly.

Those are perennial playoff team with good defenses and high scoring offenses.

If you have noticed..those teams have racked big wins the very next game..

so you have to understand how good we have been.

To think we can play every week at an unchallenged level is unreallistic..

Especial with our new defenses defensively.

I expect our defense to take a step back now..

We'll see.

All three division games have been ugly and closely contested.

I think it's a little early in this "dynasty's" epic history to complain about a win.

I think we should wait until at least their tenth consecutive winning season.

Great teams win ugly and leave their opponents trying to find the beauty in a loss.

A quarterback has one job. Lead his team to victory.

I'm pretty certain we could win the Super Bowl and there would be threads bemoaning how there is no chance we'll repeat.

It's so predictable... the "roof is falling" game-day threads...the guys who turn the TV off if we get down 10 points...or who declare..."that play right there is why we lose this game..."

Also amusing is the fans who blame coaching for every non-successful play.

But all fans have their own way of seeing the action...and managing their emotions. For the most part it's all good.

There have been uglier wins, and just when you think you seen the ugliest win, there will be one uglier.
Better an ugly win than an ugly loss.

Yup. And if we go 2-1 with the remaining division games...I'm happy.

Even the Juggernaut cowboys of the past didn't win 'em all and looked ugly sometimes.

New staff, new approach, stockpiled draft picks. No one was going to turn that team around in one season. Who knows if it'll work but makes more sense than what they've been doing.

The Browns fans I know up here are hoping for the #1 overall pick - they don't want to win this year. :muttley:
You'd think after years and years of picking in the top 5, you would have built a good team.

What are they building? They are winless and appear as lost as ever.

Yes they are still searching for win #1, but that is why I said I like what they are building, and not what they have now.

Come see me in two years when they are in the playoff hunt. Long way to go still, but a lot more talent on that roster than people want to believe, and premium draft picks coming next season.
