I believe he's a free agent, so they don't have to release him. But last I heard resigning him was one of the Stealers' "top priorities."

This is one of the few players in which I hope we make a sincere effort to sign. He still quite young, would help us shore up FS, and allow us not to have to worry about drafting one this year so we can focus on our other needs.

Add in a good FA kicker, and possibly Fabini to help hold over the RT spot until we can get our draft pick up to speed (if we end up drafting one) and we should be pretty well off without having to break the bank.
