Just got of the hospital again today around noon. But this time they FINALLY took out my gall-bladder.(sorry no pics this time)

So this should be it, after only 53 trips to the ER and 40+ hospital stays. In theory my medical problems should be over and now I can finally get on the path to a somewhat normal life.

If anything positive came out this whole ordeal, it is the fact that I'm no longer a practising alcoholic. That cycle of addiction has been broken. No....SMASHED! I no longer have even the slightest desire for beer or any alcohol of any kind at all.

Please wish me luck as I endeavour to become an actual human being again. I'll certainly need it.

Sorry if this is a self-serving thread. But I really just needed to get it off my chest publically. It has been the 2 worst years of my life. [/crybaby]

Yikes. Your insurer must hate you by now. Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Good luck, I have only had one surgery and it was gall bladder. I found out the wrong way that anethisa(sp?) makes me sick. That is not fun.

Sorry to hear about your travails, but it can only get better from here.
Good luck Dan-O. :)

It seems I'm an oddity, anesthesia is the best sleep I've ever had.
I wish they made a home version, so I can get that deep all the time.

If I ever have to have surgery again I know to tell them it makes me sick.

Is there something they could give you for that?
