I wouldn't draft Darnell Washington in the first if he was the only guy sitting there. I'd rather forfeit the pick. The kid didn't do jack in college.Trade our 2nd for Deandre Hopkins, draft Darnell Washington in the 1st and Tank Bigsby in the 3rd…and we will be legit Super Bowl contenders next year.
We’re going to hold serve (at minimum) on defense.
Yea, not a big fan of Darnell at 26.I wouldn't draft Darnell Washington in the first if he was the only guy sitting there. I'd rather forfeit the pick. The kid didn't do jack in college.
I like it. I think Washington is going to be a stud. The match up mismatches he is going to create is going to be giving DCs nightmares for years. Who do you cover him with? A safety? You are going to cover basically an OT with 210 pounder? Most LBs won't be athletic enough to keep up with him.Trade our 2nd for Deandre Hopkins, draft Darnell Washington in the 1st and Tank Bigsby in the 3rd…and we will be legit Super Bowl contenders next year.

I’m hoping we still re-sign Fowler and sign a DT like Andrew Billings in FA.I like it. I think Washington is going to be a stud. The only issue with your scenario is the trenches. We are going to need depth on the OL, especially since Tyron will be hurt for at least half the year and we need a monster NT.
Can you name this All-Pro TE based on his college production?I wouldn't draft Darnell Washington in the first if he was the only guy sitting there. I'd rather forfeit the pick. The kid didn't do jack in college.
Just say no to 30 year old receivers. It’s really that simple!!!Trade our 2nd for Deandre Hopkins, draft Darnell Washington in the 1st and Tank Bigsby in the 3rd…and we will be legit Super Bowl contenders next year.

Who’s college stats are those? Can you name this All-Pro TE based on his college production?
Catches - 48
Yards - 737
TD's - 10
Washington's college production - 45, 774, 3 (17+ ypc )
That’s George Kittle’s stats. The only thing I see blocking Washington being featured MORE was that he played behind the BEST TE IN COLLEGE!!!!!Who’s college stats are those?
I agree that college production isn’t everything… but I do normally like to see it.
In Washington’s case though, you can see reasons for not having had a ton of production.
Yep… and I appreciate the info, thanks. That’s George Kittle’s stats. The only thing I see blocking Washington being featured MORE was that he played behind the BEST TE IN COLLEGE!!!!!
