Trade our 2nd for Deandre Hopkins, draft Darnell Washington in the 1st and Tank Bigsby in the 3rd…and we will be legit Super Bowl contenders next year.

We’re going to hold serve (at minimum) on defense.

I wouldn't draft Darnell Washington in the first if he was the only guy sitting there. I'd rather forfeit the pick. The kid didn't do jack in college.

Yea, not a big fan of Darnell at 26.

I think your choices are good but with McGovern gone for sure and we were in adequate in the middle of the office of line? We need interior offensive line did are strong enough to start. If we’re depending on pro bowl caliber players to start to have a history of consecutive injury or +40 years old call me dubious.

I like it. I think Washington is going to be a stud. The match up mismatches he is going to create is going to be giving DCs nightmares for years. Who do you cover him with? A safety? You are going to cover basically an OT with 210 pounder? Most LBs won't be athletic enough to keep up with him.

The only issue with your scenario is the trenches. We are going to need depth on the OL, especially since Tyron will be hurt for at least half the year and we need a monster NT.

I’m hoping we still re-sign Fowler and sign a DT like Andrew Billings in FA.

Just say no to 30 year old receivers. It’s really that simple!!!

Washington reminds me a lot of the legend, Rico Gathers

Can you name this All-Pro TE based on his college production?

Catches - 48
Yards - 737
TD's - 10

Washington's college production - 45, 774, 3 (17+ ypc :omg:)
Who’s college stats are those?

I agree that college production isn’t everything… but I do normally like to see it.

In Washington’s case though, you can see reasons for not having had a ton of production.

That’s George Kittle’s stats. The only thing I see blocking Washington being featured MORE was that he played behind the BEST TE IN COLLEGE!!!!!

Not high on Bigsby.
Hopkins would cost a draft pick, so that's not going down.
I can dig Washington.
Cowboys need a run game and defense. Add more to the defense and select a more dynamic RB.
