Did we really win last night? With so many people complaining in here, it makes me wonder.

I don’t think most people realize that was practically the entire 2nd string of the Titan offense and defense

It's unbelievable that folks can't seem to understand it was like playing against Tenn's last preseason game roster.

3 games in 12 days

Short week where teams always struggle on Thursday

Playing a QB you had zero time to plan for

They gave up 97 yards rushing, 20 of that on an reverse, and another 30 at the end of the game when the Titans were running out the clock and Dallas was expecting pass. Of course it was against the 2nd string RBs and OL, but overall they did what they were supposed to.

I admit they played a very sloppy game, got some big breaks from the Titans (and the refs), and played way too soft in the passing game, but a win is a will, and we are used to the Cowboys playing down to the level of their opponents.

The seem to be snakebit with the receivers bobbling passes into the hands of defenders. WRs drop passes all the time. The Titans did too, but the Cowboys are giving the drops to the opponents and that is the worst. I am not excusing Dak. The second INT was all on him. It was a bad decision, at a bad time, and he threw the ball behind the receiver - also very bad there. Dak has that Romo mentality of thinking he can make a play when he should just throw it out of bounds.

On the flip side, if the Cowboys defense cannot stop the Titans backups with their 3rd string QB who just showed up 8 days before the game then they are in big trouble. The pass rush is disappeared. They had two sacks but against the Titans backup OL. They have to do better than that.

agree. We will be fine. Much was at play here. One great thing, we still won easily by 14 playing below average on the road against an uncommon opponent. Both teams are badly injured and depleted. We took care of business. RELAX.

1. Injuries
2. Interceptions
3. Bad defense
4. No run game
5. Pathetic blocking
6. Did I mention injuries

only decent person was the kicker.

THANK YOU for being one of the FEW sane, thinking persons IN THIS forum swarmed by mindless zombies that think:
1. DAK IS elite
2. The cowboys will make a deep run in the playoffs
3. That we are a player two away from a championship

Had Prescot played better then maybe just maybe the injury to the center doesn't happen. This offense may have put points on the board, but it was a struggle in between the hash marks! Prescot and his one read looks down field doesn't play well in this league. Also. if it wasn't for Tenn's rookies making a lot of mistakes, they could have won this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! So now we have morons blaming injuries on Dak. Seek help son. You need it.

Here's the thing:
I was expecting a blowout win too.
But ... it is especially and particularly grueling to maintain high intensity and focus over the course of a 17-game season. Teams tend to let up somewhere on the schedule. Teams tend to circle the "cupcakes" on their schedule and lose their focus. That's why even the best teams lose somewhere along the journey. Remember the 1992-93 season when the L.A. Rams (3-6) beat the Dallas Cowboys (8-1) in Texas Stadium?
I remember some writer at the end of the year - a year that culminated in a Super Bowl win - asking "How did the Cowboys lose to the Rams?"
It happens.
I'm more worried by the sloppy play and coaching than I am about the fact that we were less than dominant. But, really, we had the game under control.
So, I'll take the win and chalk up the overall performance on us finding it difficult to get up for the Titans without their starting quarterback or their monster running back. 12-4 baby!

The bills were in a one score game with the bears in the 3rd quarter and Allen had 2 picks. But I know I know, "wErE not BiLlS fAnS"fans. But most of yall sure are Josh Allen fans and think they're going places even with him playing low key trash the past month

I don’t think most people realize that was practically the entire 2nd string of the Titan offense and defense . That was the worst “win” I have ever seen . Tampa would have destroyed the cowboys if they had played their playoff game tonight

I think everyone realized it, since the announcers rubbed it in our faces all night. The performance itself is no shocker; we've lost and almost lost games to bad teams this year. This team is so bipolar when it gets late in the season that you can't be surprised by a fetal position. I mean, do any of us really expect to go into Tampa against Brady, or ANY road playoff game and take care of business? It's what we have been forever and what we are. One way or another, we implode. The common denominator is that we do it to ourselves. Take away stupid mistakes, and we roll the Titans and don't have to look at that journeyman QB's ghastly parents all night. What DOES shock me is our secondary...how utterly easy it is for any QB to drive on us.

Going on 27 years of "We will be fine."

Nobody gets the benefit of the doubt on this team. Not the players, not the coaches, and certainly not Jerry.

"One read looks" after video after video shows Dak going through 4-5 receiver progressions over and over.

Gotta get to the championship game.
They need to get Zeke out of the game. He is a progress stopper, I want more Davis.

I've slept on it and even though they did not play clean and the Titans seemed indifferent, they won by 14......a win is a win. What they do in the playoffs is a different conversation

And yet we won by 14! Chiefs best Tenny by three, Cincy by 4, but THEY are still legit contenders.

But…but the Titans were missing players! So were the Cowboys! Plus, a short week on the road!

Wait, gotta move these goalposts with my double edged sword!

The Titans had some key drops that stopped them when they were driving. If the Titans offense played a little better on O, then they might have taken this one. I think they hurt themselves on some key 3rd down plays and wide open guys just dropping perfect passes.
