Romo's worst QB rating ever, 22.2, came in 2007 against divisional rival Philly. He threw 3 interceptions in that game.

The next week he bounces back with a so-so QB rating of 81.2, but a completion percentage of 66.7%. He throws 1 TD and 1 interception in the win against...drum roll please....The Carolina Panthers.

The Fates, they have plans.

Not to mention, Romo did get the first win of his career against the Panthers, which came a game after throwing 3 interceptions against the Giants.

They better not take Carolina lightly. They have two RB's that are better than the Giants RB's and one of the best WR's in the game.....0-2 or not.

After this bitter loss, I don't think 'lightly' is going to be in the vocabulary. Better not be, anyway, I agree.

Isn't Carolina in woeful shape with their DTs? This should give the RBs a chance to exploit the middle.

This team and coaching staff cant take anyone lightly. If they cant beat the Giants with all we had going for us Sunday night (new stadium opener, healthy team vs a team missing alot of key people etc etc) then they have proven they still have a LONG way to go.

That was the kind a game a championship contender should have made a statement in, unfortunately we made a different kind of statement.

We will need sacks and takeaways to start arriving or it is going to be a bumpy ride.

I am still amazed when I look at the final score from Sunday Night. We should have been blown out. If not for the OL and the RBs we would have been.

Dallas can't afford to take ANY team lightly. They have a lot of work to do and it starts now. Or, should of started yesterday IMO.

If they were playing a college team tomorrow, they better take them seriously. Playing against an old folks team, they better take them seriously.

This team has to also take themselves seriously.

I agree. Carolina will be fighting their butts off not to fall to 0-3. They put up a good fight last game and I expect to see them playing in desperation mode this week. Cowboys can't afford to sleep walk in this game

The only thing that really scares me about the Panthers is Steve Smith. We can control the running game, but who is going to stop Steve Smith? The only who can is Jake Delhomme, because our secondary doesn't stand a chance.

And they have nothing to lose. No one expects them to win which puts us in a bad spot.

The defense was good in the red zone, and that made the difference. It was outside the 20 where we struggled. Both of NY's TD's came from the 22 yard line. Without the pressure we've become accustomed to, these DB's need the end line as an extra defender, I think.

It's fate that Romo cannot go more than two games without a throwing a pick.
I think he has gone two games without a pick once or twice?

A let down is inevitable IMO. Hopefully it's close at halftime: seriously. They are a dangerous wounded animal right now and our pride and egos have been bruised. I think it'll be close at halftime and as the game goes on we wear them down: it won't be easy: it never is with this team. I expect and hope for a similar game to Tampa.

It kinda makes me laugh and shake my head when people wax on about how we better not take Carolina lightly.

Do you really, I mean really....c'mon now...do you really think that they ever are flippant about an upcoming game?

That's one of the most ridiculous statements I see being made repeatedly after a bad game.

Seems like Newman has played pretty well against him in the past. D Williams and Stewart worry me. However, if we can find a passrush somewhere Bad Jake will make a showing.
