Weird that the East Coast is 10+ degrees hotter than here in Texas. T'aint natural!

Yep. I'm showing 79 degrees outside on the patio right now. Tropical storms ain't all bad.

100+ for a few days with 60% humidity? In San Antonio we call days like that June, July, August, and the first two weeks of September. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

The worst place I know of that has consistent heat and humidity was Georgia. Just another reason to hate that state.

I dont miss S GA or Moody AFB one bit. Its 82 with 29% humidity here in NM, enjoy the heat :D

Highs up here were 68 on Monday and cracked the 90s yesterday. Winter finally ended in the pacific northwest! YAY!

Yeah, it's been kind of getting warm in the DC area. The humidity has been there but not (to me) completely overwhelming. Seemed worse in Houston, my home town. And trust me, it's MUCH worse in Thailand...

Georgia? Just moved from there after 10 years there. The mediocre humidity around DC lately is more than I ever remember in Georgia, in the Atlanta area anyway.

I can deal with what the temps are in the DC area right now, but I sure hope this heat wave simmers a bit soon. Last week was just *gorgeous* here!

Some have it worse than others.

Yes they do.

I dropped everything. I mean everything. Job, schools, social life. Neighbors, golf buddies and co-workers. I packed our stuff in a truck and got the hell out. Have not regretted one day out of that hell hole of a city. I may have had to semi start over with a job/career and busted my *** for a few odd job years but it was more than worth it. My family and I can venture out any time of day or night and do anything we want. When the sun goes down it cools off..........what a concept. When I breathe, it's fresh air. No brown clouds, congested traffic or stifiling dust storms. We can experience seasons again where we once slipped thru fall, winter and spring all in a few short months meanwhile completely dreading the 8-9 months of misery in the near future.

9 and one half years. I still wonder how in the hell I did that. Good riddance Phoenix.

120 is 120 dry heat or humid but then I have lived in humidity all my life

Move to a dry climate of same temp.............you'd feel 20 degrees cooler.
