Hey guys i usually fly out to Dallas and catch a game at least once a year. I usually stay in a wyndham with not to much around it, but good for saving a little cash. But this year I'm bringing the lady along , want to spoil her a little . Any places you guys recommend with restaurants , bars , pubs , mall around ? I'm not looking for 500$ a night but maybe around 100-200 $ any info would be appreciated .

I'd suggest:

The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth
The Gaylord Texan Resort Grapevine
Four Seasons Resort & Club Dallas at Las Colinas

Omni Dallas:
http://www.***BANNED-URL***/incoming/20120615-omni.jpg.ece/BINARY/w620x413/OMNI.JPG

23 minutes from the stadium

Located in Downtown Dallas, although there isn't a ton to do in actual 'downtown'... a few restaurants here and there.
7 Minutes from Uptown Dallas Bars and night life (pretentious, but good looking people everywhere. You'll still have fun)
12 Minutes from Lower Greenville Restaurants and Pubs (more laid back than Uptown)
14 Minutes from Northpark Mall (Where Dez couldn't keep his pants up)
6 Minutes from Deep Ellum bars, shops, tattoo parlors and live music venues (pretty grungy, artsy)

WARNING/BONUS: IF YOU'RE GOING IN SEPTEMBER 26 - OCTOBER 19TH, THE STATE FAIR WILL BE GOING AND SOUTH EAST OF DOWNTOWN DALLAS COULD BE REALLY BUSY. ON THE PLUS SIDE, THE STATE FAIR IS AMAZING.

Or Omni Fort Worth:

19 minutes from the stadium

Located downtown Fort Worth about .5 miles from Restaurants, Bars, good nightlife (superior to Downtown Dallas)
9 minutes from West 7th http://www.west-7th.com/ Restaurants, bars, and a bit of shopping. Very TCU influenced (not a bad thing).
11 minutes from the Fort Worth Stock Yards for a cool Cowboy/Texan experience (food, shopping, rodeo)

I don't live in Dallas, but for my one visit I stayed at The Adolphus. I thought is was a very swank hotel and seemed to be in the heart of Dallas.

Some pretty good descriptions.

I have stayed at The Joule when in town for a Cowboys game, a 5 star hotel right in the heart of downtown Dallas. It has a rooftop pool and is surrounded by a large selection of restaurants, pubs, bars etc.

I would just take the Omni, it is connected to the convention center, I would think without anything going on they knock their prices down.

I was at the Magnolia for a wedding just in March. Kind of a nice 'staycation'. It was pretty nice. Has an old school charm to it. I had a cool corner room. I don't remember how much it was.

The elevators are pretty annoying though. I think only 4 are active, and there was a lot of waiting time at peak hours.
