McCleon started 16 games last year. And has always been a starter. He brings a Veteran with Exp. to the table. I am not saying that he starts in front of T-New or Henry and probably not Glenn but he would be a nice fall back. at a #4.

Aaron Glenn was released by the Texans two years ago.

Not sure what this proves, can't remember if he was released due to salary hit .... but you always find teams going with youth and undervaluing a vet a little ...

I'm sure we've got every scout the last month combing rosters for CBs... my guess is we'll give up somebody like Bowen or maybe somebody on the OL ... for a vet CB that's been crowded off a roster somewhere by a fifth-round phenom that costs the team minimum salary, or costs us a midround pick or something ...

Unlike when Glenn was cut by Houston, these guys were not released due to money.

Neither of these guys would be an upgrade over what we already have.

Seriously though, two players have been cut before the season from arguably one of the worst teams in the nfl... if they can't even stay on the active roster come game 1, they must suck aihse.
