Because Texans fans hate us. It be impolite not to hate them right back.

Yeah, but do they embrace the hatred, like us?

edit: oops. Posted this before I saw your reply to HighTechDave.

"For years now, a growing number of my constituents have been of Texan descent and I've come to know them well. They have honored me with their support and with their friendship. Indeed I can proudly say that some of my very best friends are Texans...

These debates on the Cowboys-Texans rivalry are in no way whatsoever a slur upon the great Texan people. Because I can state from my own knowledge and experience that Texans are among the most loyal, most law-abiding, patriotic, hard-working Texans fan in this land.

And it would be a shame, Mr./Mrs./Ms. Moderators, if we allowed a few rotten apples to give a bad name to the whole barrel. Because from the time of the great Tom Landry up through the time of Rober Staubach, right up until the present day, Dallas Texans have been pioneers in building and defending our great nation. They are the salt of the earth, and they're one of the backbones of this country. "

When I first moved to a small town outside of Houston, almost 2 years now.. i went into one of the gas stations, wearing my cowboy gear.. the clerk behind the counter, said I should be ashamed to wear that stuff,, I said why? And her direct quote was" cuz you are in texas" i said.. so is Dallas..

Houston fans seem not to be the brightest stars in the sky!

Texans fans are pretty dumb. Most of them still think the Texans are the Oilers!

What Texans fans said on their message board

We all know what the cowboy's game plan will be - win at any cost. We know that is just how bad they want it.
It isn't the "win" I am concerned with. It's having the ability to fend off the Cowboy's desire to pummel us like Rosie O'Donnell at lunch hour in the local Golden Coral.
Jerry Jones feels like he has something to prove to his fan base and the Texans are the perfect show-pony.

Well, I'm about to head down to the Super Bowl -- well, this IS the Texans fan's Super Bowl! ;)

I can't wait to be shouted down with the great cry of "19-10!!!!" oh, about 509 times. You know, it's pretty pathetic when all you can hang your hat on is beating a crappy 5-11 team 5 YEARS AGO!!!

Later, y'all.

If the Texans were a little more competent ..... I might be able to hate them.

Right now its like hating the Cardinals ..... whats the point?

Well my friend Clove likes to call them the Houston Toxins
Hey Ice, I think I got that from Blindzebra, I think. But the Texans talk a lot of crap for having never EVER EVER, done a thing, whether they were the Toxins or the spoilers.

They think we are a snobby city, and they don't respect the fact that the Dallas Cowboys put the state of Texas on the map in sports with our franchise alone.

So Toxins, I hate you and may you receive this beat-down tonight, and go back to being the 5th best franchise in Texas. :star:

I take a measure of pity toward them on account of their Napoleon Syndrome, to relish a victory over the 2002 Dallas Cowboys is like exalting a lead poisoned can of 40 year old spam as a family's secret and most prized recipe.

Cowboy fans are accustomed to prime rib, fillet mignon, and surf n' turf by comparison.

The local news in Houston just led with the hype surrounding the game. They have excerpts from some tailgating fans and one of the guys they talk to says, "Romo gets hurt tonight!" The fact that they select this excerpt tells you all you need to know. I could care less about the Texans, but I hope we kick the living hell out of their first string. Not a week goes by that someone on Houston sports radio doesn't mention 19-10. For Cowboys fans who don't live in Houston let me tell you, I might as well live in Philly when it comes to the Boys. I also had my fantasy draft today at a local pub and I'm about 9 beers in so maybe I'm too sensitive.

It's a preseason game for God's sake...

Until last season we hadn't equaled them in regular season wins head to head...

We won the preseason games after their first victory... but they said that didn't count... it still doesn't...
