Her caddies told her that the venom from a Black Widow can sometimes kill a child in half an hour, so Holmqvist knew she had to act fast. With her leg swelling, Holmqvist reached into her pocket and pulled out a tee. She quickly cut open her skin and squeezed the venom out.

I don't think I would have messed with a black widow bite, .. I would have wanted some medical attention juuuuuust to make sure.

I saw that on CNN this morning, that is one tough lady. I have seen documentary on the effect from a Black Widow and it can be both extremely painful and deadly.
