I'll join in that celebration. Felix has some POWER in addition to his speed and vision. He took 3 guys into the endzone by himself.

my jaw dropped lol, somehow i didnt notice he was in there. i was wondering how barber got so fast. the kid is looking good, a far cry from julius.:laugh2:

One idiot Browns player actually hit him in with an extra boost. It looked liked he was going to probably be down inside the 1.
You could be right. I'll have to re-watch it. I thought he powered his way in.

Well, he still displayed some unexpected power, he was hit and should have been stopped around the 4, but he drove it to the one.

When is the last time Julius ran up the middle for a 10 yard TD and actually carried a guy or two?

Hmmmm. I'll get back to you.

Dang those shoe-string tackles. Felix was almost gone on a couple occasions.

That was the second time in the game he touched the ball and all but for a shoe string ,he would have taken it to the house.

And on that bllitz pick up where he got knocked on his _ _ _ I'm sure he'll get his chops busted on that in the film room ,but give him props for standin in there and taking on the monster.

Next time he most definitely will hit em low.:laugh2:

Me thinks we have a winner here.

Actually the only think I noticed F Jones not do exceptionally well was one block on the LDE. Which shouldn't surprise anyone. But he's the real deal. Haven't had a back like this in a long time. Kinda the same way he ran in college. :) What was his ypc?

Oops. Someone beat me to it but it's all good.

Felix, just gave us a small sample of what he is capable of, I can't wait for them to start using him on some screen passes also and more kickoff returns.
H e only really played a quarter, everyone kept saying wheres felix when are we going to use him, then all of a sudden his first carry touchdown.
It is going to be a great season.

Dude looked legit. A perfect complement to MBIII. He'll bust a couple this year, and I can't wait to see his upside fulfilled.

While we're at it, Choice did a nice job as well!

We all know what were going to get From Romo, T.O.,Witt and MBII , But come on!! Felix !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he's going to be an big part to out SB run.

No argument here...he was great today. Nearly broke a couple runs for long tds...had one long run wiped out by a holding call...great run for TD

very solid debut

I'm delighted to be proved wrong on my opinion of the Felix Jones draft pick. Still early days but Felix looks like a playmaker

I have a strong feeling that the very next time he gets in that situation, he'll actually take it to the house.

Too bad Felix got eaten up by McGinest on Romo's INT.

If FJ makes that block, it's 35-7 Cowboys. He did alright, but I hope no one thinks Felix did 'good enough'.

Yeah, he blew the block, but at least he knew who he was supposed to pick up and he was in the right place. I'm impressed that he didn't make mental mistakes on blitz pickup, considering he's a rookie in his first game.

Yeah, I wanted Chris Johnson but I have to say after seeing this kid play in the preseason and in one game...I'm glad we got Felix.
He has changed my mind.
This guy is a more complete rb than I thought he was.

I agree, at first I thought FINALLY they are going to mix him in some, then I found out MBIII went out with an injury.

I was hoping to see more of a combo of both backs throughout the game.

His first carry in his career (the TD), I thought it was MBIII till the announcers said it was Felix. Kid ran with authority. As long as he does that unlike Julius Jones, I will be happy. I was very impressed today. He ran hard. Showed his elusiveness. We didn't see him catching the ball, but hopefully soon. And we saw him learn from a mistake (Blitz) and pick it up the following drive. Great debut. I want more. And we'll get more!

I love how the biggest knock on him was "he isn't a physical runner" and he proceeds to carry people into the endzone after lowering a shoulder on his first ever NFL run.... loved it.

I don't even know how to describe what he is doing of the field, but for some resaon he is moving past defenders and they are just watching him. He will be a true weapon when we can get him into the passing game. He was in against a pretty gassed Cleveland Defense though.
