I don't know what's more impressive... Barber's initial step and the way he reads the hole or his unwillingness to go down off initial contact. He's an amazing player and very underrated.

The play where he lost the 1st down was kind of weird. He got hit right when he was making a move, so he didn't have any forward momentum. The hit knocked him off balance and made him stumble backwards. It wasn't one of those plays were a guy runs backwards to get around a group of tacklers. He just got hit at a bad time.

Riiiight. Last week, too? This is my primary knock on the guy--bouncing around too much when he should hit it. It's balanced out by his ability to break tackles, but you have to admit he needs to work on this weakness.

If you noticed, JJ started the game, then Barbarian came in for a while and beat up the defense, then JJ comes in and slices off a coupld of nice runs. JJ is perfect coming off the bench.

Yeah that gets me too. He gets applauded for bouncing it out, beating up a couple of defenders along the way, only to get the same two yards that JJ gets beat up about.

Yeah the big runs can balance the bad runs out, but sometimes it aggravates me when I see that.

MBIII needs to start. JJ should still rotate but but MBIII is the starter.
To me, it's not about who starts. It's about who finishes. Who finished the game? Barber

Besides Barber came in on the second series and got the bulk of the carries for the rest of the game. Not sure it matters who starts the game at this point.
