How about this stat going into the playoffs

As of right now the Cowboys have a combined record of 7-4 against teams that are in the playoffs or are against teams that could be in the playoffs come next week. Not bad for a team that put all these bobbleheads into panic overdrive. How many other teams in the NFL are as good as the Cowboys against playoff or potential playoff teams?

I’d consider it a good thing. We’re good against adversity and high powered teams, which couldn’t be said with past Garrett led teams, and even when you look at the losses we had against those teams (Like the Jags and Packers), they were close losses in OT. That being said, a lot of the game of football has to do with luck, and really, it’s the strongest component in the playoffs. One play can determine the whole mantra of the game (the 3rd and 30 in Philly set that tone, for example). We’ll need a lot of things like that in the playoffs, regardless of our SOS win record.
