How about we try running the ball more?

This game was NEVER out of reach.

It's like BP is calling the plays again.

Ridiculous.

3 Rushes in the ENTIRE second half. The last one coming in the 3rd qtr. with 1:50 left in the game.

This is something I have been sick of for years.....we get away from the run ANY TIME we are down by a TD. It's a long game....it's not like we can't win it on the ground sometimes....but we have to at least TRY to run the ball. 5 times in the first half for Barber and 3 in the second half....sorry, but that is on Garrett 100%. He definately didn't do his job on this one.

Every now and then Garrett gets away from the run too early. In the Philly game we continued to pound when Philly was stuffing MBIII in the first half. We need balance. We lost for several reasons but this was a big one IMO. Thoughts?

Reminded me of that last Giant game where we just abandon the
run the entire second half.I put this on the coaches.

Norm just said that Dallas only called TWO RUNNING PLAYS from the middle of the second quarter till the end of the game. You cannot not do that and expect to win an NFL game. Pass happy will get you killed everytime Jason:bang2:

I think our pass-run ratio was about 47-11. And this was in a game in which we trailed by one possession most of the way.

Garrett gets a lot of praise, and deservedly so. But you can't win in this league doing that. It reminds me of last year's Philly game, where we were pass-happy despite trailing like 10-6 most of the game.

Betcha you'll hear Jaws at some point say Garrett lost his equilibrium.

That game plan got us beat last year and did again today.

I don't understand it. Hopefully the coaching staff will learn from it.

Doesn't change the fact I put more blame on the D for this loss.

There were a actually 3 running plays in the second half....not like that makes it any better.

It's not like we were down 3 scores and had to, and on top of that ROMO WAS STUGGLING, we needed to run the ball more to control the game.

3 point game through most of the third quarter. 1 possesion game through most of the second half.

10 rushing attempts total.

10.

This whole coaching staff gets an F today. I'm not so sure I'd want Garrett to run this show after what I saw today.

I dont trust this group yet after last years punch in the face

Not to mention, no offensive touches for Felix. In my book, this is inexcusable. Imagine Tennessee not giving the ball to Chris Johnson once? This kid is one of our playmakers. He has to get snaps and touches.

Yea, kinda boggles the mind that we left Felix watch the whole game from the freaking bench.:bang2:

It feels like our coaches lose all patience as soon as we are down even by the slimmest margin. We can be down only 3 with plenty of time and we'll immediately start flinging the football around. I mean come on. Running the ball can be an effective form of offense. It isn't just something used to waste time in the second half when you have a lead.

You can't tell me the Washington defensive coaches weren't thinking to themselves, 'Whew,' on that. It's one less weapon for them to worry about.

Outside the first possession of the second half, I never felt like the offense was playing 'Dallas Cowboys football.' You know, the type of game plan that typically wins us games. It seemed like we were force feeding the ball to Owens, too pass happy, and almost playing scared despite trailing by miniscule deficits. It seemed like our offense was on the defensive as opposed to on the attack.
