How are we feeling trotting this guy out in a big spot moving forward?

How are we feeling trotting this guy out in a big spot moving forward. I know he made that huge kick in the Giants game, but is he going to be consistent? I thought we go such a big break last night, and whatever 15 yard penalty we go right before the half. In comes Gramatica, and he misses a 43 yarder to get us to 21-10. We get the ball to start the half there could have been some momentum heading into the half if he makes that kick. Certainly, I am not implying that the kicker was the reason we lost, but it does not give you a warm and fuzzy feeling heading into the last 3 games of the year when most of these games should be tight.

He made the next one. Still not exactly a LOT of alternatives, are there?

I don't think we will ever be able to watch our kicker kick and truely be confident that it's going in.

...it's just one of those things.

I hear ya... but in addition to no alternatives... I would give him some time... marching him out there for 40+ yarders isnt a good thing either... how about some 30 yarders....

with that said... I am concerned right now.... not worried... just concerned...

I agree with ya, but you know....An NFL kicker should be able to kick from 45yards and in consistently. It is just such an emotional kick in the gut when a kicker misses one, particularily potentially "momentum" kicks like I think last night was. Sad to say , I also agree that there are no other alternatives.!
