How big could James Pearce play as a rookie

What if you took Pierce and trade Micah? Before you say all you are doing is filling a hole you just created, depends on the return for Micah.

I agree, however, some may think he is more of a pass rusher then I believe
I might feel differently if we didn’t just draft Kneelan.

If he tests extremely well I’d be on board but I don’t see that happening.

Pearce is a great rusher. He’s pretty good against the run, but doesn’t have the anchor for LDE. Could be a good RDE with Kneeland at LDE
With Micah being so movable it didn’t matter.

We need another player that can get to the QB outside of Parsons.

They are more old schooled power rushers, then those bendy undersized guys we see in todays game

Kneeland doesn’t have the that size, he is closer to 270, where he is 285
Kneeland needs to play the next 5 weeks. I really want to rule out end early if in the draft if we resign Gholston.

Regardless of how he lays I’d love to bring back Gholston OR Tank if he’d agree to a team friendly deal. Would go a long ways for our run D then we could focus on finding someone who can really get after the passer.

Some guys the Cowboys need to move on from and Tank is one of those guys for me. He was a great Cowboys player but the juice isn’t worth the squeeze anymore.

Mind you, he coming back from being out several weeks they are going to take it slow with him to work in back.

Yea, and when it comes to the best pass rushers in the league 9 times out of 10 it’s guys with burst and bend.
Maybe in today's game, but players like Reggie White, Bruce Smith dominated as power rushers.

True but I really want to rule out defensive end unless a top guy falls to us. So many needs.

Probably not going to affect us one way or another. If DLaw departs that might push up the need.

Probably right - but if the price is right he’s still an above average Edge setter and good for the locker room. If too expensive I agree.

Breaking his foot two of the last three years scares me. Tank took a pay cut to stay a Cowboy. He is about his money and I think a team like Washington will offer him more. Tank would be a great rotational player though, I will give him that.

Your getting two late 1sts for Micah. Not worth it.
